John Deere 4430 – the legend.

John Deere is one of the biggest manufacturers of agricultural equipment and machinery. The company set its position as a global leader back in the 19th century and since it was established in 1837 it remained to be considered as such.

Being a legend, John Deere produces legends. One of them for sure is John Deere 4430. The machine was manufactured in Waterloo, Iowa and launched on the market in 1973. During the next 4 years, up to 1977 when the production was finished, John Deere 4430 has gained an opinion of being extremely reliable and is still a popular machine used in agriculture. Smaller than 4630 and bigger than 4230, John Deere 4430 is equipped with 4x2 chassis and 2 WD drive train or optionally 4x4 HFWD chassis and 4 WD. It has a John Deere 6.6L 3-cyl diesel engine of 46 gal fuel capacity. The machine’s claimed power on drawbar equals 108.46 hp and was tested on 104.99 hp, both claimed and tested PTO equal 125.88 hp. John Deere 4430 is also equipped with hydrostatic power steering and hydraulic wet disc brakes. As an attachment it has a front-end loader. As far as cab is concerned, it is optionally either Roll-Gard ROPS or Sound Gard body and cab.
