While small, the John Deere 3320 is a very efficient model. The 3320, which first rolled off the production line in 2005 is versatile and has multiple options available. The compact tractor boasts a 32.5 horsepower, three-cylinder, and 1.6 liter Yanmar 3TNV88 engine. The TNV engine meets EPA Interim Tier IV emission requirements by using direct injection and advanced cylinder design where the fuel is injected directly on the piston tops.

The PowrReverser™ transmission, which is the basic option, has 12 forward and 12 reverse gears. It uses heavy duty multi-disc clutch packs and allows clutchless shifting from forward to reverse. The power take off (PTO) output is 25.5 horsepower. (The Sauer-Danfoss eHydro™ and the eHydro™ AutoHST are also options on this tractor). PowrReverser™ models include automotive-style diagnostics.

The instrument panels features indicators for low fuel, air filter restriction, alternator, glow plugs, 4WD engagement, oil pressure, PTO engagement, parking brake and turn signals/flashers. The LED instrument panel is backlit and includes a large tachometer that indicates PTO rpm and has gauges for engine hours, fuel level and temperature. If you are in harsher climates, a cab option is available, with a 15,000 BU heater for winter and blowers and condensers for the summer workload. (Note that a standard transmission is not available with the cab option.)
The versatile model has a wide range of optional attachments that suites the small farm owner all the way to commercial landscapers. Choose from box blades, core aerators, wood chippers, backhoes, front end loaders, landscape rakes, soil pulverizes and more. The 3320 is ideal for mowing and has a wide array of mowing decks, up to 72 inches, that can be attached.
