If there’s work to be done and you need to get it done fast and safe, think of John Deere 8300 row -crop tractor. That model was produced between 1995 – 1999 and included 8000/8000T series. The previous model manufactured under that brand was John Deere 4960, followed by John Deere 8300. Then, the company started producing more upgraded tractor model, which is John Deere 8310.Produced in Waterloo, Iowa, USA, the John Deere 8300 model comes in two variants: as a crawler or a wheeled tractor. Depending on the variant, the vehicles are equipped either in the John Deere 7.6L 6-cyl diesel or John Deere 8.1L 6-cyl diesel engine of 135 gal fuel capacity. It is characterized by 200 hp rated PTO . Both types of engines are liquid-cooled.
The John Deere 8300 model has the 4x2 2wd chassis and features 4x4 MFWD drive train. It has 3 to 5 valves as standard, the hydrostatic steering and the electro – hydraulic differential lock. The tractor’s cab is typically of CommandView type, unless you choose Row-Trak guidance, as the preferred option.
