Espi Engineering Srl was officially founded in 2006, but in reality its origins date back as far as 1964 when in the mechanical workshop founded by Loredano Govoni, father of the current owner, Stefano, a small business was started for the sale and repair of crawler cranes and rope-operated excavators.
This was right in the middle of the economic boom and the conditions were ideal for those who wanted to invest in a sector that was a driving force for the national economy at the time. The company grew slowly but constantly, simultaneously consolidating the internal structure and the skills of their workers.
In the early 1980s, on the strength of the results achieved over the first twenty years of activity, there was a change in pace with the establishment of Espi Engineering Srl and consequent expansion of operations: as well as dealing with new and used machinery and providing repair and after-sales services, the company established a well-stocked spare parts warehouse, began to construct machines for special applications, and started a hire business, very well suited to the types of machinery and equipment handled.
Completing a long experience on the market and as an additional evidence of our solidity, we have stipulated a trade agreement with SENNEBOGEN, a world leading company in the crawler cranes sector for which we are the new agents for the national market for sale, assistance, spare parts, and renting.
Not to forget the trade agreement with GIKEN, the other world leader in the sector of presses for driving sheet piles and profile sections.
