John Deere began building the 2305 in 2006. It fastly became one of their most popular compact tractors. It is ideal for small jobs on the farm, at the home or for any commercial landscaper. Its smaller size makes it a favorite for many because it is easy with fuel and it takes up little space. If you plan to store this tractor inside or on a trailer, note that the ROPS (roll over protection system) is fixed and does not feature folding bars.
The 2305 comes standard with a Yanmar 1.1L 3-cylinder diesel engine. The three point hitch has a lift capacity of 681 lbs and a power take-off (PTO) power of 18 horsepower. The 41.7 ft-lbs of torque generated from the motor makes this small power horse able to handle most any job. The wet disc brakes are reliable and the 2305 boasts engine isolators to help with noise and vibrations. Its hydraulic power steering and 57 inch wheel base makes for easy navigation in rough terrain or small places. It also has an option for a backhoe attachment. The iMatch™ Quick Hitch system makes switching out accessories easy.
The 2305 also has a twin touch two-pedal transmission system that allows you to instantly change speed or direction of travel – going from drive to reverse is a smooth transition.
