The John Deere 6430 tractor is equipped with 115 hp, 4.5L air-to-air aftercooled engine, which delivers constant power over a wide range of rpm. The tractor has the independent 540/1000 rpm PTO that comes as standard and constant flow load sensing hydraulics type. It also features the inboard planetary final drive. The hood tilts open 60 degrees, using a tab on the right front side of the tractor. The tilt – up hood guarantees an easy access to engine oil and fuel filter, coolant recovery tank and front – mounted battery, among others. The tilting cab design provides easy access to the rear differential and transmission.
