. The main function of the rotary harrow is the same as that of the ordinary harrow, i.e. loosening

e.g. after plowing, before sowing or after fertilization. The difference between a power harrow and a normal harrow is fundamental. The rotary harrow is primarily a mechanical device driven by the power take-off shaft (PTO) of the tractor, which, by driving the angular gear with a clutch
, sets in motion discs with claws that loosen the soil. The advantage of this solution is that the power harrow can be used when working on slightly harder, denser soil, where an ordinary harrow, even loaded with ballast, does not give adequate results and that the harrow can be used simultaneously with other machines

Construction and working elements The working elements of the active harrow
are discs on which two cutting knives, approximately 20 cm long, are placed vertically. The operation of the gear sets the discs with knives in motion, this is done through gears located on each disc inside the aggregate, which gears are flooded with gear-hydraulic oil. , heavily compacted or lumpy soil without overloading the tractor. The recommended PTO/PTO speed is 540 rpm
